Louyang #2

The crowds were so big, it surprised us!!

The local dignitaries present Mr. Kull and the band with some beautiful artwork and awards from the Louyang community.

Louyand treated us like mini-celebrities. The local media took pictutres of every student, every parent, every instrument, from every angle!

Hope you enjoy the pictures! More tomorrow.

Extraordinary! Great photos. Minor celebs, all of you. We want to wish Alex a fabulous 18th Birthday in China. If I understand the time zone, I think that Mon June 25 starts there in 30 minutes. We love you Alex!! Have fun and we miss you. Love, Dad and the Whole Family in St Charles.

The peony dancers look fabulous, and the massage blog is entertaining. Wondering if the girls are posting to a separate page.....

Have fun and take care of yourselves and each other.

We look forward to reading the blog everyday! Thank you to all who keep us updated on the trip. The pictures are great, too. I can hardly wait to hear about the trip when you are home, Nick. (I know Alex wants to know if you got a "foot massage" !?!)Your adventures were the highlight of the Eisenhower reunion today! I enlarged the group pictures of your concert on the Great Wall. All of grandma's relatives thought the view was breathtaking!

Enjoy the rest of the trip! Love, Mom, Dad, Alex and Jill

Go, Saints.....or shall I say, San Charles!

Jim (and any other poor sox fans),
So you don't lose touch completely, and just in case the local papers don't carry the important sports: Cubs swept the Cross Town Classic - all 3 count 'em, games!!!
Go Cubs!
